Event held by CMA – Catholic Medical Association on 05/07/2020:
Traditionally the Catholic Medical Association organizes a Hippocratic Oath Ceremony for the 4th year medical students to celebrate their accomplishments as they graduate and move on to residency. It starts with words of faith from speakers, as a priest blesses the students and talks about the how faith and medicine are intertwined. We then acknowledged our 4th year medical students and recite the Hippocratic Oath as they complete their medical studies and start their residency. This year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had the ceremony over zoom.
