Join Dr. Phillip Cushman and HQA for a discussion of being queer within medicine over the past few decades. Dr. Cushman did his psychiatry residency at UF and worked as an army psychiatrist before moving intro private practice. Recently retired, Dr. Cushman served as president of the Florida Psychiatric Society, was a founding member of AGLP, and has received recognition from multiple national psychiatric associations. Dr. Cushman spoke about the history he’s seen and participated in as a physician championing LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion.
