Event held by PIG – Pediatrics Interest Group on 01/05/2021:
Dr. Parker discussed the inequities she has seen in pediatric care over her career. These ranged from low SES impacting a family’s ability to afford care to the literacy of patients and their caretakers. We want to start 2021 off by gaining a better understanding of how we can build a generation of physicians with more inclusivity and better care for every individual. Whether you are interested in pediatrics or another specialty, this topic is important for every future physician to learn about.
