Although you may know that it’s best to seek help when one’s mental health is affected, but have you ever wondered how the recovery process may be? Come out to National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) UFCOM’s event to hear Hugh Nguyen’s mental health journey, how anxiety and depression affects him, how he navigated the healthcare system when he sought help, the specifics of petitioning for his medical leave of absence and decompressed schedule, and his tips on how to best support those going through something similar. There will be food provided by Jimmy Johns (vegetarian options included)!
